Sustainability Governance

In implementing and determining the sustainability strategy, Board of Directors’ Corporate Governance Committee has the ultimate responsibility. This responsibility is undertaken by the Executive Committee, headed by the CEO, and the Sustainability Steering Committee (SSC). The Climate Protection & Energy Management and the Environment & Water Management working groups support the SSC. The Corporate Affairs function is responsible for the disclosure, reporting and communication of sustainability targets and performance results. Function heads of CCI at both the group and country levels integrate the sustainability targets set by the SSC into their respective functional objectives. And finally, our employees are the key enablers for integrating sustainability principles into our business.

Corporate Governance

The strong corporate governance structure of CCI plays a vital role in achieving strategic goals. CCI conducts all its operations within the framework of established regulations in operating countries and the Corporate Governance Principles as outlined by Turkey’s Capital Markets Board. In order to inform our stakeholders transparently, we publish an annual Corporate Governance Principles Compliance Report that contains information on the application of the Corporate Governance Principles.

Risk Management

Risk Management

CCI’s management has the primary ownership of the Risk Management and Internal Control System. Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), which directly reports to the CEO and the Risk Committee, acts as a facilitator and provides assurance and consultancy services in the risk management area.

We identify critical threats and opportunities and manage them according to our company’s risk appetite using a systematic and disciplined approach that is integrated into the Strategic Business Planning process.

Integrity and honesty are the fundamentals of our business. We conduct all operations in accordance with these values. Since our reputation for us is as vital as integrity and honesty, we give utmost importance to protect our most valuable asset, the Coca-Cola brand. This brand respresents unique and very crucial qualities such as esteem that arises from honesty and reliability

CCI Code of Ethics guides our employees to live our values and “do the right thing”. It outlines the behavior expected from every employee and its scope applies to all CCI countries of operation.
