Corporate Social Responsibility

Waste Collection Project
Waste Net Project

The Coca-Cola Foundation is providing crucial support to the Waste Net Project in Kyrgyzstan, with the goal of improving the efficiency of the waste collection and recycling system by offering incentives and fostering collaboration between waste collectors, recycling firms, and the HoReCa sector. During the reporting period, 3 enterprises in the waste management sector received equipment financing, while 50 separate containers and 8 containers in the form of metal mesh boxes were installed in the Issyk-Kul Region, which hosts over 120,000 tourists annually. Within the scope of the project, 933 tons of waste were collected and processed. Additionally, 5 cooperation agreements were signed with local city governments to enhance collaboration among stakeholders.

Women Empowerment Projects
Women EXPO 2030

Within the scope of Women EXPO 2030 and in collaboration with UN Women, 40 women entrepreneurs were provided with training.

Youth Empowerment Projects
3.2.1. Start! Project

The 3.2.1 Start! Program aims to empower young people and support the solutions they develop for sustainable living. In CCI Kyrgyzstan, the program reached 1,000 individuals, providing equipment support to the top 6 projects.

World Environment Day 2024

Marking the World Environment Day, in Kyrgyzstan 17 CCI Volunteers in collaboration with the Manas University planted 300 saplings as part of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Technical Supervision’s Jashyl Muras initiative.

Reforestation Projects 2023

CCI Kyrgyzstan volunteers also joined forces to plan 245 saplings on the grounds of Manas University.

World Environment Day 2023

A coastal cleaning activity in collaboration with the local government, NGOs and UN agencies was also arranged to preserve the Lake Issyk-Kul. Around 600 kg of plastic waste, close to 400 kg of glass were collected and sorted, then handed over for recycling to the authorities. Furthermore, around 1,500 kg of no recyclable waste was collected.
