The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI) supported the charity campaign of Azerbaijan’s "Nargis" Foundation dedicated to the holy month of Ramadan.  

Within the framework of this initiative, five large tents were set up for five days in the Balakhani settlement from April 10 to April 14. In this time frame, the residents of Balakhani and surrounding villages were hosted on Iftar tables set up in the tents and served with free meals, water, and beverages for Iftar. During the five days, low-income families were also given the option to take home hot meals, water and beverages for those who were not able to join the Iftar table.  

Rena Memedova, General Manager of CCI Azerbaijan (Azerbaijan Coca-Cola Bottlers LLC), expressed her pleasure in joining the initiative: "The Coca-Cola System always pays attention to the local traditions of people in the countries it operates in. We joined this initiative and were able to deliver around 10 thousand meals and beverages where we had the opportunity to be together with the people of Azerbaijan in the holy month of Ramadan. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who participated in this campaign and the millions of people around the world who observe Ramadan every year’  

In addition to Coca-Cola Azerbaijan, several other companies joined the initiative of the "Nargis" Foundation. Coca-Cola Azerbaijan continues to extend its support to social projects in the country and joins various community-based initiatives every year. Since 2019, Coca-Cola Azerbaijan is one of the main partners of the iftar tent initiative launched by the "Nargis" Foundation.
